Andy is a hometown hero from Arlington, Texas. For 30 years, Andy served at the Arlington Fire Department as a firefighter and paramedic, and as an RN at Cook Children's Hospital -- every flavor of lifesaver. When others ran from danger, he ran towards it...but saving lives takes a toll. In 2023, Andy decided to trade the hose for house listings and the siren for signatures. And frankly, who wouldn't prefer a closing deal to a close call?
The most rewarding part of Andy's job is helping people get into the home of their dreams. Whether it's a starter home or a forever home, Andy gives his clients 110% to ensure a fantastic overall experience. Building his own home and pool sparked his interest in residential new construction and gave him understanding of how stressful the process can be. Therefore, he wants to help his clients have a smooth experience during one of the most important purchases of their lives. He believes in having a servant heart while also looking out for his clients.
Andy enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with his family, including his two goldendoodles. If you want to win Andy's heart, give him a bag of almond M&Ms and some Talenti ice cream.

“Lead from the front. Take care your crew, and they will take care of you.”
Nickname?
Radar from “MASH.”
My first job on public safety was a 911 dispatcher. I was still too young to apply for the police department. They fire department gave me the nickname since I was pulling dual duty when I first started as a volunteer firefighter.
What's the most inspiring part of your job?
After retiring from Arlington Fire and Nursing, I needed a way to still help and serve people. The Burlison Group gave me the opportunity to help people achieve their dreams of home ownership through our builder program. Whether a first home or their next, I am honored to be a part of my clients' journey.
